Looking for some fun, fresh, & healthy spring snacks for kids? Keep reading for 7 ideas that are sure to get your kids eating their fruits & veggies! I’ve also included a free learning activity you can do before or after snack time at the end of this post.
Spring is one of our favorite seasons around here! The weather is perfect for hours of outside play, and there are so many great spring learning activities we love to incorporate to practice math and literacy skills.
One of my all-time favorite things to do is combine stories with thematic snacks to boost kids’ love of reading. Research has found that these storytime snacks lead our little ones to associate positive feelings with reading, which is exactly what we want, especially in the younger years. You can read more about storytime snacks in this post.
So today I’m sharing with you 7 healthy & fun ideas for snacks you can make during springtime. These ideas are all simple enough that your little one can get involved in making them, which is great fine motor practice, too!
Pair these snacks with any of our favorite spring books to help your little ones develop a love of literacy (and maybe eat their fruits & veggies, too!)
