A cherry pie recipe is included so you and your little ones can bake together, too!
I Pledge Allegiance: Libby’s great aunt, Lobo (meaning wolf in Spanish) studied very hard to pass her American citizenship test. Now that Lobo has passed the test, she will go to a special place to recite the Pledge of Allegiance. As Lobo prepares for this great day, Libby and her classmates also prepare with her, practicing the Pledge of Allegiance all week. Not only will your little learn the Pledge of Allegiance with this book, but they will also learn the meaning behind it and the reason why we hold the Pledge of Allegiance in such high regard. Of course, learning a few Spanish words and phrases along the way is also a nice bonus! *Note: This is a bit of a longer book, but the fun pictures and interesting story will help keep your little ones engaged.
